Poor starting and/or noisy fuel pump. This problem may be due to a damaged O-ring seal on the fuel filter air bleed valve.
Engine oil leak. Some D2 vehicles with V8 engines experience engine oil leaks.
Radiator top coolant hose leak. There were reports that some D2 vehicles had leaks on the top coolant hose. Further inspection showed that the problem is caused by the chafing of the top coolant hose against the ACE high-pressure hose.
Rear air suspension failure. Most D2s have air suspension on the rear. When the air springs wear out and air leaks out, the compressor will be under a lot of strain and may eventually fail.
